Terms of Use
The rules for using our apps. Short where possible.

1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to all pupsaps apps (tenk, Subvibe, River Ruler and future ones) and to pupsaps.com. Apps downloaded from the App Store are also covered by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. If the two disagree about your licence to use an app, Apple’s agreement wins. By using an app you agree to these terms.
2. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use our apps on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store rules. The apps themselves — code, design, names — remain ours.
3. Your content
What you make with our apps is yours: videos and subtitles, measurements, exported files. We don’t claim any rights to it. You are responsible for having the right to use the videos and audio you process, and for what you publish.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
- Payments, renewals and refunds are handled by Apple. The price is shown in the app and by Apple before you pay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage them in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- If an app offers a free trial, it turns into a paid subscription at the end unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- One-time purchases (such as River Ruler’s “Unlock forever”) are paid once and can be restored on your other devices with the same Apple ID.
- Refunds are decided by Apple under its rules — see Support for how to ask.
5. Please use common sense
- tenk is a motivation tool, not a medical device. Step data from Apple Health can be inaccurate. Talk to a doctor before significantly increasing your activity.
- River Ruler shows estimates based on open map data. It is not a navigation or safety tool. Rivers change, and maps can be wrong or out of date. Before any trip, check water levels, weather, obstacles and local rules from official sources.
- Subvibe generates subtitles and translations automatically, and they can contain mistakes. Check them before you publish.
6. Third-party data and services
Some features rely on others: Apple Health, Apple MapKit, OpenStreetMap (map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License), Wikidata, Open-Meteo, Hugging Face and Google Firebase. We don’t control these services and can’t guarantee their availability or accuracy.
7. What not to do
Don’t copy, resell, decompile or modify the apps, get around paid features, or use the apps to break the law or other people’s rights.
8. Changes to the apps
We keep improving the apps, which means features may change or be removed. We may also stop supporting an app. That won’t affect your right to use what you have already bought for as long as Apple lets you download it.
9. Warranty and liability
The apps are provided “as is”. We do our best to make them work well, but we can’t promise they will be error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for damage caused by relying on estimates in the apps. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will say so on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the apps after that means you accept the new version.
